Welcome to Court! Feel at home in the former court of Utrecht! How nice of you to stay with us. We would like to ask you to read our house rules and our code of law, so that you are fully informed and do not take the law into your own hands.

I. We (the employees) watch over your safety, the emergency plan comes into effect in the event of an emergency. You are kindly requested to follow our instructions. In case of fire, keep calm. Keep windows and doors closed. Hit the nearest fire alarm and report the fire to the reception or via telephone number: +31 (0) 30 2330033. When causing a false fire alarm, we are entitled to charge the costs incurred for this to the causer. These costs amount to € 250.00 per false alarm.
II. At least 1 person in each travel group must be 18 years or older. In the case of underage travellers, we must have written permission from parents/guardians. Everyone must be able to identify themselves at check-in.
III. Of course we respect your privacy, but in case it is decided to violate our rules, we are authorized to enter the room.
IV. Found objects must be handed in at the reception. Court Hotel is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings, keep them (in the) safe!
V. The management, the owner of the location and/or persons who work for Court Hotel cannot be held liable for any injury, material or immaterial damage.
I. Use emergency exits as normal entrances and exits.
II. Insult, discriminate, threaten, use violence or sexually intimidate employees/guests.
III. Take hotel property outside the building. When damaging our property, you will be held liable for the repair and/or renewal costs.
IV. Lighting candles in the wharf cellar, it is very romantic but unfortunately too dangerous.
V. To consume, use, trade or have narcotics (soft/hard drugs) and weapons. We are obliged to inform the authorities in case of detection.
VI. To cause a nuisance to another, we all come here to enjoy. Staying in the wharf cellar with more than the permitted number of people. If the management finds this, you must leave the Court Hotel immediately.
VII. Receiving paid guests in the wharf cellar for sexual activities.
VIII. Using the hotel for unwanted photo reports and intimacies.
IX. To smoke in the entire building. All our wharf cellars are non-smoking, which also means not smoking out of the window or in the bathroom. If you do decide to do it, keep in mind that we are forced to charge €150 for cleaning costs. This will be credited to the account without mercy. That is one expensive cigarette!
X. Bringing pets to Court Hotel. We love it, but unfortunately not in the hotel.
I. Your wharf cellar will be ready from 3 p.m. You are of course welcome earlier, then we would be happy to check whether your wharf cellar is already available. If the room is not ready yet, we will be happy to tell you more about 'our Stadsie' and we will watch over your luggage so that you can start exploring.
II. You have the opportunity to sleep in until 11 a.m. on your departure day. Would you like to sleep in longer? You can use your room for longer if it is available, ask us at the reception about the possibilities and costs. Even after departure, we are happy to watch over your luggage so that you can enjoy the Dom city to the fullest.
III. Feel at home! You can use our Wi-Fi free of charge so that you don't miss anything online. Network: Hotel 26 - apt 4. Password: W3lc0me@HOtel26/4.
I. Want to watch television? Turn on the TV and follow the steps:
(The TV must be set to “source/inputs AndroidTV home”, if this is not the case, change the source.) You see the message with 'No channels installed' You click on the home button of the remote control. (The little house). You will see the app NL Ziet, with this app you can watch television. You can also use the other apps such as Netflix.You don’t have to create your own account for NLZiet. It is already logged in. If this is not the case, please contact the reception.
II. Is it too cold? This can be set as desired! To heat the room, you can open the radiator by the window, in order to control how much heat is emitted. Via the thermostat (left next to the entrance) you can switch on the underfloor heating and regulate the temperature.
III. Your clothing in top fit condition is also important. We can ensure that your clothes are washed through our laundry service. At the reception in Court Hotel we have a laundry form and a laundry bag for you. Put your laundry in here and hand it in at the reception from Monday to Friday before 9am, so that your laundry will be returned to you the same afternoon fresh and clean.
Oops, did your clothes get creased during the trip to the hotel? No problem, you will find an ironing board and iron on the clothing rack.
IV. Need a taxi? We can reserve one for you! Depending on the traffic, it will be ready for you in about ten minutes in front of the Court Hotel. A taxi ride to Schiphol costs €69.
V. Want to discover Utrecht by bike? We have these for you to rent! Ask for availability at the reception in Court Hotel. You can rent our bicycles for a whole day for €17.50, half a day (4 hours) for €12.50 or several days for €15 per day. We also have electric bicycles, which you can rent from €35 per day, per bicycle.
VI. Would you like a wake-up call, a doctor, an adapter, tips in the area or do you have any questions? You know where to find us at the reception in Court Hotel! Or call us on +31 (0) 30 233 0033.
I. Every day our housekeeping comes to clean the rooms of our guests. We are happy to provide you with new towels, but in a sustainable way. Only put your towels on the floor if you want us to replace them with clean ones. We also tidy up the bed and replenish the free tea and coffee. Are you staying longer than three nights? Then we change your bed linen halfway through your stay.
II. The housekeeping will take your garbage. Do you want to help them? Then you can put paper and glass bottles separately next to the rubbish bin so that our employees can dispose of this waste separately.
III. You can also choose to skip the Housekeeping and plant a tree in a place where it is needed. Questions about this? Come to the reception, or call +31 (0) 30 233 0033.
IV. Did you forget your toothbrush? Would you like an extra duvet, single duvets, an extra or thinner pillow or other toiletries? This can be arranged! Ask for this at the reception of Court Hotel.
V. Are you traveling with your 'little one'? on request and subject to availability we can place a baby cot in the wharf cellar.
VI. In the bathroom you will find our care line from Marie Stella-Maris, a Dutch social enterprise with a mission. "Access to clean water and hygiene for everyone, worldwide!" The luxury body care products are made with ingredients of natural origin, the scents are distinctive and unisex, and we design all our products with an eye for detail.
I. A nice bite to eat? Then you are in the right place at our restaurant De Rechtbank. You are guaranteed to enjoy good food here!
II. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast in our restaurant between 07:00 and 11:00. Would you rather start the day in your wharf cellar? Let us know and we'll bring your breakfast to you! (At an additional cost).
III. For a nice lunch we are happy to send you on the road into the city, ask us about all the nice hotspots!
IV. The kitchen is open for dinner from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Don't forget to reserve a place to be assured of a table. Having a nice drink? This is also possible with us from 3 p.m.
V. A nice cup of coffee or tea to start the day? This can already be done fresh in your wharf cellar! Turn on the coffee machine by pressing one of the two buttons, open the handle and place a cup here. Close the handle and wait until the green light stops flashing. Then press the espresso or lungo button. Our coffee and tea are organically grown and produced, free of pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals. Good for you and the environment!
